與所有健身訓練相似,熱訓練對身體會造成壓力,因此每次熱訓練後需要充分恢復。因此,熱負荷引起的疲勞必須納入運動員總訓練負荷的總壓力中考量。
雖然目前尚未有公認的標準來測量熱負荷與一般訓練壓力的關係,但在頂尖教練和運動員中存在一些典型的做法。這些做法的目的是在最小化干擾其它訓練計劃的情況下,實現熱適應。
